1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using OnlyBikes, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
OnlyBikes is operated by Slabbert (Pty) Ltd in South Africa.
2. Our Role
OnlyBikes is an online classifieds platform that allows users to advertise and discover bicycles, cycling components, accessories, clothing and related services.
OnlyBikes is not the buyer or seller and does not:
• Own or inspect listed items.
• Guarantee the condition, quality, legality or accuracy of listings.
• Collect, process or hold money between users.
• Arrange collection, delivery or transfer of ownership.
• Act as an agent, broker or intermediary in a transaction.
Buyers and sellers communicate and transact directly with one another.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
Users must be at least 18 years old or use the platform with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
OnlyBikes may suspend or close accounts involved in fraud, abuse, prohibited conduct or repeated violations of these Terms.
4. Listing Rules
Listings must:
• Relate to bicycles, cycling products or approved cycling services.
• Be accurate and not intentionally misleading.
• Use photographs of the actual item where reasonably possible.
• Clearly disclose known faults or damage.
• Advertise only items the seller legally owns or is authorised to sell.
• Comply with applicable South African laws.
Stolen, counterfeit, illegal, dangerous or fraudulently represented goods are prohibited.
OnlyBikes may correct categories or formatting, request further information, reject, edit or remove listings that violate these Terms or are unsuitable for the platform.
5. Fees
OnlyBikes currently allows users to publish standard listings free of charge and does not deduct commission from sales.
If optional paid features are introduced in future, their prices and conditions will be clearly displayed before purchase.
6. Transactions Between Users
Buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing on the price, payment method, inspection, collection, delivery and all other terms of a transaction.
Users should inspect items and verify the other party before completing a deal. Sellers should confirm that payment has cleared before releasing an item.
Any agreement or dispute arising between users remains between the buyer and seller. OnlyBikes may assist with reports or provide available information where appropriate, but is not responsible for resolving or reimbursing private transactions.
7. Safety
Users must exercise reasonable caution when communicating or trading.
Never share passwords, banking PINs, card information or one-time passwords. Be cautious of unusual payment requests, fake proof of payment, courier scams and offers that appear too good to be true.
Suspicious users or listings should be reported to OnlyBikes.
8. Public Content
Listing information—including photographs, descriptions, usernames, telephone numbers and general locations—may be publicly visible.
By publishing a listing, you confirm that you have the right to use its content and allow OnlyBikes to display and promote that listing on the website, search engines, social-media pages and associated cycling communities.
You retain ownership of your original content.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
• Publish false, fraudulent or misleading listings.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Attempt to obtain another user’s passwords or financial information.
• Upload malicious software or interfere with the website.
• Collect user information for spam or unsolicited marketing.
• Use the platform for unlawful, abusive or discriminatory activity.
• Repeatedly publish duplicate or irrelevant listings.
10. Availability and Liability
OnlyBikes aims to keep the platform available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation or the authenticity of every user or listing.
To the extent permitted by law, OnlyBikes and Slabbert (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for loss, damage, fraud, injury, delivery problems or disputes arising from listings, communications or transactions between users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
11. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using OnlyBikes, you acknowledge that information included in public listings can be viewed and shared by others.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform develops or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
Continued use of OnlyBikes after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
